Zürich-Lied, a historical hymn of 49 stanzas of 4 lines each, written by Hans Rycher, commemorating the suffering of the Anabaptists imprisoned in the Oetenbach prison in Zürich in 1639-40 ff. Six men are named among the unnamed others: Felix Landsgan (Landis?), Rudolf Sommer, Der Pfister (Pfeister?), Ulrich Schneider, Jakob Erni, and Rudolf Bachmann.

The Zürich-Lied appears as the sixth of nine hymns in a small 40-page booklet entitled Ein Geistliches Lieder-büchlein (Gedruckt in diesem Jahr). The Goshen College Library possesses two editions, one bound in with the 1686 German edition of the Dordrecht Confession (1632), Christliche Glaubens Bekentnus, and a collection of prayers and several small song collections, the other bound with the 1691 edition of the same book. The only indication of time is found at the end of the third hymn in the collection, which is signed "B.B.B. 1709," and according to the last verse was written by a prisoner in Bern. The seventh hymn is the Dürsrüttilied, which tells the story of the seizure of a congregation of Anabaptists with their preacher Uli Baumgartner in 1659 in Dursrütti in the Emmenthal in the canton of Bern. The eighth hymn is the noted Haslibacherlied, which tells the story of the martyrdom of Hans Haslibacher at Sumiswald, canton of Bern, in 1571.
