De Zon, a Mennonite meetinghouse at Amsterdam, Holland, in 1664-1801 the seat of the Zonist congregation, which, having separated from the Lamists on 22 June 1664, because of the Lammerenkrijgh, held separate meetings, at first worshiping in a warehouse in de Oude Teertuinen. On 15 September 1664, it bought a stately house, a former brewery on the Singel Canal, with the sign of a sun (Dutch zon) on the facade, which it adapted as a meetinghouse, and remodeled in 1683. It acquired a pipe organ in 1786 and was used until April 1801, when the Zonist congregation merged with the Lamists. The Zon meetinghouse was sold in 1802 after the organ and the pulpit had been transferred to the Toren meetinghouse of Amsterdam.
