Year Book of the [[General Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches|General Conference of the Mennonite Brethren Church of North America]] was first published in 1883 and since then has been published following each convention of the General Conference, which met annually until 1909 and triennially since then. The Year Book contains the minutes, reports, and resolutions of the particular session of the Conference and a directory of ministers and church workers listed by churches. Until 1936 it was issued entirely in German. In 1939 an English synopsis of the Conference decisions was issued in addition to the Year Book. In 1943 the Year Book was issued in two editions, one German and one English. Since 1946 (November 1945) it has been issued in English with a German synopsis as part of the book. The Year Book has varied in number of pages from 16 to 224. Each district issues a year book after each annual district conference, containing the same information for the district as the General Conference Year Book contains for the General Conference.
