Philips Wyntgen van Westbrouck, who was one of the first Anabaptists at Amsterdam, Netherlands, was sentenced to death at The Hague on 10 March 1533, and executed there or at Amsterdam that very day or the next day. His property was confiscated; after the execution, probably by beheading, his head was put on a stake as a deterrent exhibit. Particulars about Westbrouck were not available.
