Worker's Exchange (Periodical)
Worker's Exchange, the periodical of the Pacific District of the General Conference Mennonite Church, was begun by Emma Ruth in 1930 in her capacity as field secretary of the conference. Since then the Worker's Exchange was usually published every month with the exception of July, August, and sometimes September. Its format and method of printing have varied. Editors have been Emma Ruth, Reedley, California, 1930-43; Mrs. E. J. Muller, Lind, Washington, 1943-46; Henry B. Dirks, Los Angeles, California, 1946-48; Willard Wiebe, Lind, Washington, 1948-50; Clyde H. Dirks, Portland, Oregon, 1950-53; and George A. Fast, Milwaukie, Oregon, 1953- . The place of publication has always been the home of the editor.
