Willem de Snyder (Willem Snyders), an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, burned at the stake on 18 May 1570 (Van Braght's <em>[[Martyrs' Mirror]]</em> has 3 May 1568), near [[Bruges (West-Vlaanderen, Belgium)|Bruges]], [[Belgium|Belgium]].
