Wallenstein is a "country corners" seven kilometers west of Elmira, on the county line between Wellesley Township, Waterloo County, and Peel Township of Wellington County, Ontario. For a few years about 1933 the Mennonite Conference of Ontario supplied ministerial and Sunday-school assistance in a small church. No organized work followed.
