Vegreville Hutterite Colony in Vegreville, Alberta, was founded in 1970 as a division from the Pibroch Hutterite Colony. Another name for the Vegreville Hutterite Colony is the Lavoy Hutterite Colony (Lavoy, Alberta, Canada) . Some sources refer to them by one name and others by the other name.

Daughter colonies of the Vegreville Hutterite Colony include: Mannville Hutterite Colony (Mannville, Alberta, Canada); and New Pine Hutterite Colony (Ellscott, Alberta, Canada).

In 2023 the Vegreville Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
