Vauxhall Evangelical Mennonite Mission Church began in 2001, when Richard and Elisabeth Hamm arrived in Vauxhall to plant a new church. The first service was held on 26 August 2001. The Hamms served until their resignation in June 2005. Hans and Trudy Hiebert arrived in July 2005 and served until 2008. Peter and Anne Wiebe ministered until the congregation's final service on 22 February 2009, when the church closed.
