Trevose Mennonite Church (formerly Trevose Heights Mennonite Church), ([[Mennonite Church (MC)|Mennonite Church]]), a member of the [[Franconia Mennonite Conference (Mennonite Church USA)|Franconia Mennonite Conference]], was an outpost of the [[Doylestown Mennonite Church (Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA)|Doylestown Mennonite Church]]. It was located about 17 miles east of [[Doylestown (Pennsylvania, USA)|Doylestown]], [[Pennsylvania (USA)|Pennsylvania]]. The work was started with a summer Bible school in 1945; a church building to seat 150 was dedicated on 16 June 1946. Twelve members from the Doylestown congregation made up the worker force. The membership in 1957 was 40, 13 of whom were of non-Mennonite origin. Paul W. Histand was the first appointed superintendent, ordained as minister by lot on 4 April 1948. The next year the congregation was organized and has supported other mission work as well. In 1958 "Heights" was dropped from the name.
