Toul, a town in the province of Meurthe-et-Moselle, France, where there is a Mennonite congregation, organized ca. 1885 as the result of a division in the Meuse congregation. The original membership consisted largely of Muller families, and the elders have always been Mullers. In 1957 the elders were Joseph Muller of Bois-la-Comte (ord. 1921) and J. B. Muller of Foug, with Raymond Muller and Arsène Zehr as ministers; the membership, including unbaptized children, was some 150. The chief meeting place for worship since about 1920 had been the Reformed church in Toul. Subsidiary meetings were long held at Vaucouleurs and Commercy, but in 1957 at Foug, Pont á Mousson, and Maucourt. The families lived widely scattered, chiefly on farms. The membership in 1957 was about 120 souls.
