Tanneken van Mechelen (van den Broucke), the wife of the [[Martyrs|martyr]] [[Hans van der Straeten (1540?-1571)|Hans van der Straeten]], was arrested with her husband at [[Antwerp (Belgium)|Antwerp]], [[Belgium|Belgium]], in 1571, when she was only 17 years of age, and recanted.
