Tanneken Walraven, an Anabaptist martyr who was burned at the stake at Antwerp, Belgium, on the evening of Pentecost, 22 May 1575. Van Braght's Martyrs' Mirror adds that she was executed with her mouth screwed up to prevent speaking to the crowd. She was the wife of Jan Verschelt and the mother of Preacher Jaques Walraven of Amsterdam.
