The Taiwan Revival Mennonite Church in Toronto, ON began services in January 1995 after meeting as a Bible study for a year. Frank Liao is regarded as the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by individuals and the Mennonite Conference of Eastern Canada.

The congregation has also been known as the Taiwanese Christian Revival Church.

In 1998 the congregation met for worship at the St. Theodore Canterbury Anglican Church, 111 Cactus Ave., Willowdale ON. The language of worship was Taiwanese and Mandarin.

After several years of struggle as a group, the Taiwanese Revival Mennonite Church decided in April 2002 to close.

Frank Liao, with his wife Heather, served as pastor of this congregation for five years, then returned to Taiwan for ongoing ministry.
