The first service of the Strodes Mills Mennonite Church in Strodes Mills, Pennsylvania, USA, was held in a rented facility on 1 November 1981. The building had originally housed the Strodes Mills Presbyterian Church but in 1981 it was being used as the Fort Granville Grange Hall. Thirty-nine people attended the first Mennonite church service.

Visiting ministers from the Mid-Atlantic Mennonite Fellowship (MAMF) preached three Sundays each month and Aaron Bowman was appointed by MAMF to serve as bishop for the new congregation. Irvin Showalter was ordained as minister on 7 September 1982. Ray Peachey was ordained as deacon in June 1983.

After meeting in the Grange Hall for several years, the congregation decided to construct a building along Route 22 between Strodes Mills and McVeytown. This work was accomplished with much donated labor and sacrificial giving from the other twelve MAMF churches and individuals. The first service in the new building was held 2 March 1986, followed by a dedication service on April 20 with Aaron Bowman as speaker.

Daryl Yoder was ordained as minister in October 1993. Ray Peachey discontinued his deacon responsibilities when he and his family moved to Georgia in May 1996. Roy Groff was ordained deacon in December 1997. Carl Weaver was ordained as minister in September 2006 and served until October 2007. Sheldon Yoder was ordained as minister in July 2012.

In 2013, membership at Strodes Mills had grown to 60 with an average attendance of about 105. The ministerial team consisted of Daryl Yoder and Sheldon Yoder, ministers; Roy Groff, deacon; Keith Clugston (Mountain View), bishop.
