St-Mihiel Mennonite Congregation (St-Mihiel, Meuse, Lorraine, France)

St-Mihiel an extinct Mennonite congregation in France formed about the middle of the 19th century by families of the Meusecongregation who lived around the city of St-Mihiel. It died out in 1870 with the death of André Greebill, its only known elder, since no one was found to assume the responsibilities of the ministry. Most of the families joined the Reformed Church; others moved away or became Catholic. Among the family names were Moser, Muller, Hodler, Esch, Géni, and Lebé.
