The Springstein Mennonite Brethren congregation in Springstein, MB was organized on 17 May 1942 by members of the North End Mennonite Brethren Church of Winnipeg. The church building was erected in 1938 and enlarged in 1948. The congregation was a member of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba and the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. In 1957 the membership was 33, with Peter P. Dueck as leading minister.

The leaders of the church included: Bernhard B. Fast (1938-1940), John Both (1942-1945), Abraham Froese (1946), Johannes Voth (1947), Abraham Froese (1948-1951), J. J. Friesen (1952-1953), Peter P. Dueck (1954-1964).

The congregation dissolved in 1964, with members scattering to various Winnipeg congregations.
