The Springstein Mennonite Brethren congregation in Springstein, MB was organized on 17 May 1942 by members of the [[Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada)|North End Mennonite Brethren]] Church of Winnipeg. The church building was erected in 1938 and enlarged in 1948. The congregation was a member of the [[Manitoba Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches|Mennonite Brethren Church of Manitoba]] and the [[Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches|Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches]].
