Sommerfeld Hutterite Colony in High Bluff, Manitoba, was founded in 1977 (Hofer says 1981) as a division from the Rock Lake Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Sommerfeld Hutterite Colony was a Schmiedeleut Group 2 colony. The minister was Mike Hofer and the manager was John Hofer.
