Elvin Snyder: missionary, was born 1 April 1900 near Breslau, Ontario to Ozias and Barbara Snyder, Elvin Snyder studied at Toronto Bible College (1925), Goshen College (BA, 1927), and Southwest Texas State Teachers College (MA, 1952). He married Mary Adah Fretz in 1928 and, after her death in 1974, married Esther Brunk Fadner in 1978.
