Schwindern, Hans van (16th century)

Hans van (von) Schwindern (Swinderen), a Dutch immigrant to Schidlitz, a suburb of Danzig, West Prussia, where he was a preacher of the Flemish Mennonite congregation from ca. 1565. Of his life and activity nothing is known but the fact that he sided with the elder Quiryn van der Meulen. Both van der Meulen and van Schwindern were banned in 1586.
