Schniftenbergerhof, near Alzey in Rhenish Hesse, Germany, is listed in the Dutch Naamlijst of 1794 (p. 44) as a Mennonite congregation with Christian Eicher as preacher (from 1786) and Jacob Gally as elder (1767). Gally (Galle) was also the elder of the Weierhof and Spiesheim-Wallertheim congregations. Of the Schniftenbergerhof congregation little is known. Probably meetings were held for some time at this farm, which was the center of a group of Mennonites and a more or less independent congregation, soon after 1794 merging with a neighboring church, either Weierhof or Oberflörsheim.
