Salto Mennonite Church (Mennonite Church), located in Salto (pop. 8,000 in 1959; 23,816 in 2001), Argentina, the seat of Ugarte County, in the province of Buenos Aires, on a branch line of the Central Buenos Aires Railroad. A mission was opened by William G. Lauver under the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities in August 1941, and a congregation was organized in September 1942. In 1957 there were 15 members, with Ross Goldfus as pastor.
