Salem Publishing House, [[Inman (Kansas, USA)|Inman]], [[Kansas (USA)|Kansas]], was owned and operated 1934-58 by the J. H. Klassen family, members of the [[Krimmer Mennonite Brethren|Krimmer Mennonite Brethren]]. It printed several Mennonite church papers, such as the <em>Wahrheitsfreund</em>, <em>[[Christian Witness (Periodical)|Christian Witness]]</em>, <em>Zion's Tidings</em>, and [[Gospel Tidings (Periodical)|<em>Gospel Tidings</em>]], and also the <em>Sower</em> for the Northern Bible Society of Duluth, MN. They also did binding and rebinding of worn Bibles. The firm had its beginning in a low one-room building, but later acquired a brick and tile building, 35 x 100 ft, with a stock room and a small retail bookstore. In 1958 this firm changed its name to The Klassen Bookbindery and sold its printing equipment and bookstore. It still rebinds worn Bibles as a hobby.
