The Rio Corrientes Colony, Paraguay, located 255 km (158 mi.) from [[Asunción (Paraguay)|Asunción]] on 1,500 hectares, is the sister colony to [[Agua Azul Colony (Canendiyú, Paraguay)|Agua Azul]]. These settlements work closely with each other and also with the [[Luz y Esperanza Colony (Paraguay)|Luz y Esperanza Colony]]. These three settlements were the only ones in which mixed marriages with Paraguayans are welcomed in the 1980s, and in which Paraguayan believers were received into the congregation and the colony as full members.
