Rabensburg, a castle and village in Lower Austria near the confluence of the Thaya into the March. In May 1605 three Hutterian Brethren were murdered here. Rabensburg was the home of Gabriel Krettle who wrote about Pilgram Marpeck's Verantwortung (see Codex III, 19 at Olomouc). Krettle is thought to have united with the Hutterian Brethren (according to H. Maier in 1592).
