The Prairie Grove Fellowship Chapel in Lorette, MB began services in 1975, and formally organized in 1976. Harvey Barkman is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through Sunday school outreach by the Prairie Rose Evangelical Mennonite Church.

 In 1985 there were 33 members; 1995, 69; in 2000, 100. The congregation has been affiliated with the Evangelical Mennonite Conference since 1976. The language of worship is English.
