Ponderosa Hutterite Colony near Grassy Lake, Alberta, was founded in 1974 as a division from the New Elm Spring Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Ponderosa Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony. The minister was Andrew E. Wipf and the manager was Philip Entz.
