Tamme Pieters (ca. 1650-1690), a son of Pieter Michiels of Westeremden, Dutch province of Groningen, was in 1683-1690 a preacher of the Groningen Old Flemish Mennonite congregation of Huizinge. He was a member of the well-known Huizinga family. About his marriage to Geertruid Derks in 1678 there is the following information: "Married at Huizinge in the house of Gerit Bennen and performed by Oom Willem Janssen." His son Derk Tammes (1679-1728) was a preacher of the same congregation.
