Pieter Thymans (Peter Thijmanszoon), an [[Anabaptism|Ana­baptist]] martyr of [[Zutphen (Gelderland, Netherlands)|Zutphen]], burned at the stake in [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]], Holland, on 6 August 1552.
