Osnabrück (Niedersachsen, Germany)

Osnabrück, a town in Lower Saxony, Germany. Six Anabaptist emissaries, one of whom was Dionysius Vinne, traveled from Münster to Osnabrück in October 1534 in order to convert this town. They were all arrested before they could begin their work; four of them were executed at Iburg, one died in prison, while Heinrich Graess, who forsook the Anabaptist principles, was released. Nothing is known of Anabaptism in Osnabrück.
