Orchard Valley Church in Winfield, British Columbia was planted with assistance from several Kelowna area churches, including Garden Valley Community Church, Willow Park Church and SunRidge Community Church. It held its opening service in the Woodsdale Community Centre on 17 October 1999. Steven and Angela Pahl began their work with the congregation 1 July 1999.

The congregation chartered in April 2001 with 29 members, 10 of them newly baptized believers. The congregation joined the British Columbia Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches in May 2001. Joe and Linda Harrison became the pastor couple in June 2001 at which time the church had an attendance of just below 100. In 2005 the congregation had a membership of 29 and an average weekly attendance of 70. The congregation closed after 2005.
