Ontario Amish Mennonite Mission Board
The Ontario Amish Mennonite Mission Board, the home mission agency of the Ontario Amish Mennonite Conference, was organized in 1946. It operated three city missions: the Good Will Rescue Mission in the city of London, ON, called King Street (1951), the Wellesley Gospel Mission (1953) in Wellesley, Ontario, and the Stratford Mission (1952) in Stratford, Ontario. It also operated three homes for the aged: Maples Rest Home at Tavistock (1952), Craigholm at Ailsa Craig (1953), Milverton Nursing Home at Milverton (1954). It published a joint organ with the Ontario Mennonite Mission Board, the Ontario Mennonite Evangel.
