Newell Hutterite Colony near Bassano, Alberta, was founded in 1962 as a division from the O. K. Hutterite Colony. In 2016 the Newell Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony. The minister was George Kleinsasser and the manager was Arnold Hofer.
