Neuteicherhinterfeld (Neuteicher Hinterfeld; now known as Kącik; coordinates: 54.1647, 18.9486 [54° 9′ 52″ N, 18° 56′ 54″ E]; population in 1905, 173; in 2012, 60) is located approximately 6 kilometres (4 miles) north-west of Nowy Staw (Neuteich), 12 km. (7.5 mi.) north-east of Tczew (Dirschau), 12 km. (7.5 mi.) south-west of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof), 16 km. (10 mi.) north of Malbork (Marienburg), and 31 km. (19 mi.) south-east of the regional capital Gdańsk (Danzig).

Neuteicherhinterfeld was established after 1772 in the province of West Prussia. It was situated in the district (Kreis) of Marienburg until the establishment of the Free City of Danzig in 1920. Neuteicherhinterfeld came under the control of Nazi Germany during World War II until February 1945, when it was occupied by Soviet forces and returned to Poland. Today it is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nowy Staw, within Malbork County, Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The 1776 Prussian census lists four Mennonite families in Neuteicherhinterfeld with the following surnames: Fast, Neufeldt, and Reymer. In 1820, the village had 101 residents, including 16 Mennonites.

The Flemish Mennonites of Neuteicherhinterfeld were members of the Ladekopp Mennonite Church while the Frisian Mennonites were members of the Orlofferfelde Mennonite Church.
