The major undertaking of the Association was the founding of the Mennonite Community magazine which it published from January 1947 to October 1949. Beginning in November 1949 and continuing to December 1953 the magazine was published by the Mennonite Publishing House. Beginning in January 1954 the Mennonite Community and the Christian Monitor were discontinued and a new periodical, Christian Living (A Magazine for Home and Community), took their place.
