Mennonite Aid, Inc., [[Goshen (Indiana, USA)|Goshen]], Indiana, provides hospital-surgical and burial aid. As of 31 December 1958, the hospital-surgical membership included 29,388 adults and children and the burial aid plan 3,336 adults and children. During that year over $592,000 had been paid for hospital-surgical claims and $3,000 for burial aid claims. For 1958 the hospital-surgical assessment per person was $42.50 and per family was twice this amount, including all children up to the age of 18. Burial aid benefits were $750 per adult and $150 per child. During the last half of 1958, the organization paid 79.7 per cent of its members' total hospital charges and 61.3 per cent of their surgical expenses.
