Maugansville, [[Maryland (USA)|Maryland]], with a population of 700 in 1957, 2,295 in 2000, was an unincorporated village in the northern part of [[Washington County (Maryland, USA)|Washington County]], three miles (5 km) northwest of [[Hagerstown (Maryland, USA)|Hagerstown]]. Mennonites (MC) lived in and around the village.
