Fenna Mastenbroek of Sneek, a daughter of Pieter Mastenbroek and Janneke ten Cate, was the Mennonite author of many books and articles in periodicals, now all forgotten, which in the 19th century were very popular. She wrote particularly for women; among her books were Lectuur poor vrouwen (2 vols., Groningen, 1815-16), Zedelijke verhalen uit den Bijbel, voor vrouwen en meisjes (2 vols., Sneek, 1822), and De kunst om gelukkig te worden. Een geschenk voor jeugdigen (The Hague, 1826).

A Mennonite Mastenbroek family, not related to that of Sneek, is found in Ouddorp.
