Ministers Lyle Wiebe and Robert Toews served in 2001 as  non-salaried congregational leaders. In 1975 there were 75 members; in 1985, 81; in 2000, 108. The congregation has been affiliated with the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite since 1961. The language of worship is English.

The Maple View Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada was established after exploration for establishing a new congregation in Ontario took place in 1960 by members of the Greenland congregation in Manitoba. The Ed Toews family was the first to move in December 1960. Other families, including that of Minister Clifford Penner, arrived in 1961. The congregation formally organized on 1 November 1961 and chose the name Maple View because of the number of maple trees in the area.
