Linsenbuch, Hans (d. 1537)

Hans Linsenbuch was an Anabaptist martyr, a subject of the lords of Hacke zu Brücken on the Helme in North Thuringia, Germany, who made some derisive comments on infant baptism and was therefore arrested and compelled to recant. But he again joined the Anabaptists and after a long imprisonment was sentenced to death by fire by verdict of a court at Leipzig, and was beheaded on 4 December 1537 at Bracken.
