Her trial of 21 July 1550, at Arnhem, Dutch province of Gelderland, gives many interesting particulars. Liisken was the wife of Aerken Snyder (tailor); she was born about 1520 at Groote Spawe near Maastricht and had been (re-) baptized about 1545 by Theunis van Hastenrath in the house of Jan Neulen (which was therefore demolished).
