In 2006 Bindu and Trish Sidhu began gathering people together who had a vision for an intentionally intercultural church in Abbotsford. In 2014 the congregation began meeting on Saturday evenings at Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Abbotsford. Bindu Sidhu, the church's founding pastor, resigned in January 2015.
