Kriefkohl (also known as Grybekole, Krievkoll, Kribekohl, Kriffkohl, and Kriefkohl; now known as Krzywe Koło; coordinates: 54.18123, 18.77825 [54° 10′ 52″ N, 18° 46′ 41″ E]; population in 1905, 422; in 2013, 520) is located 9.2 kilometers (km) (5.7 miles) north of Tczew (Dirschau), 13.4 km (8.3 miles) south-east of Pruszcz Gdański (Praust), 20.1 km (12.5 miles) south south-east of Gdańsk (Danzig), and 22.4 km (13.9 miles) west of Nowy Dwór Gdański (Tiegenhof).

Kriefkohl was founded in 1363 under the Chełmno law (Kulm Law, a legal constitution for a municipal form of government) by Winrich von Kniprode with the settlements of Schönewiese and Freiwalde added later.

Until 1793 Kriefkohl was part of Danzig in Royal Prussia (also known as Polish Prussia) in the Kingdom of Poland. The Second Partition of Poland in 1793 added Danzig and its surrounding territory to the province of West Prussia. Kriefkohl was situated in the district (Kreis) of Danzig from 1818 until 1887, when it became part of the district of Dirschau. The village became part of the Free City of Danzig from 1920 until the outbreak of World War II in 1939, when it came under the control of Nazi Germany. In February 1945 it was occupied by Soviet forces and eventually returned to Poland. In 2014 Kriefkohl (now Krzywe Koło) was a village in the administrative district of Gmina Suchy Dąb, within Gdańsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.

In 1820 the village, counted together with Freienwalde, had 343 inhabitants, of which 4 were Mennonite. In 1885, the village had 3961 morgas of land, 30 houses, and 560 residents, including 5 Mennonites.
