Pieter Jansz, "van den Busch" (a hamlet near Krommenie), from 1665 a preacher and from 1675 until his death an elder of the Frisian Mennonite congregation of Wormerveer, Dutch province of North Holland (he was moderator of the North Holland Frisian Conference in 1698), proprietor of a paper mill, traveled to  Friedrichstadt in Holstein, Germany, on business and also served the congregation there, which had no minister, with preaching, baptism, and communion. He died on this trip at Friedrichstadt in 1698.
