Jannetgen Hendricxdochter (d. 1540?)

Jannetgen Hendricxdochter, from Amsterdam, wife of Peter Dircxzn, had been among the Anabaptists who sailed from Amsterdam 24 March 1534, en route to Münster. She was arrested on the boat, but either was released or managed to escape. Jannetgen was arrested again in Amsterdam in August or September 1539, whereas her husband was imprisoned in The Hague, where he was put to death on 6 November 1539. Jannetgen was sentenced to death on 4 November 1539; since she was pregnant, the execution was to be postponed until after the birth of the child. It is not known whether the execution took place.
