Hylaard (Hijlaard, Hilaard) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Friesland, where Leenaert Bouwens baptized 21 persons in 1568-1582; a congregation of Hylaard, however, is unknown; the newly baptized must have joined a congregation in the neighborhood.
