View source for Hooghe, Romeyn de (1645-1708)

Romeyn (Romein) de Hooghe was a Dutch artist who made a portrait of [[Menno Simons (1496-1561)|Menno Simons]], which is found in a Dutch edition of [[Arnold, Gottfried (1666-1714)|Gottfried Arnold]],<em> Historie der Kerken en Ketteren </em>(Amsterdam, 1701; Vol. II, page 533). This engraving by de Hooghe seems to have followed a portrait by an unknown artist, made after 1650.
