Hobelmacher, Lux (16th century)

Lux Hobelmacher (Zimmermann), a citizen of Strasbourg, was a member of the Anabaptist congregation there, in whose house meetings were held. In 1528-1529 he was cross-examined several times, once on the rack; he was to confess that "they have the women in common," but he firmly denied the charge.
