A small group of Old Order Amish settled near Jerome, Hillsdale County, Michigan, in the spring of 1945. This group included the families of Levi, Albert, and Peter Stoll, and William J. Schrock. In 1955 the resident minister was Amos Stoll, and Albert Graber of Middlebury, Indiana, had bishop oversight. The 1949 membership was 39.
